East Berlin is north of us on Route 94, out where the roads get narrow and a good number of them are still not paved.
Out that way the cars have a different problem to the ones in town. Dust off dirt and gravel roads works its way into everything, and it is abrasive, so wiping a dusty car with a dry rag is how a lot of paint around here picked up its scratches.
Farm and work trucks come in caked, and that is fine. The wheel arches, the bed and the underside of the doors are where it hides, and those are the parts a quick wash never reaches. Interiors out here take the same treatment, which is where the deep interior work earns its money.

For the interior and the salt, yes. Getting brine off the underside and out of the arches is about the truck lasting, not about it looking new.
